Hello all! I was inspired to build another rig, and I was trying to find as many deals as possible. I only mainly websurf and light to moderate game.

  • Most of the deals were off Amazon and Jet, but I managed to snag a power supply from Best Buy for the price listed, as well as the mouse.

This was a really simple build, went with mini itx and couldn't be more happy with it.

Update : I have sold the RX 580 because of the mining craze. Someone on Ebay ended up giving me 480 for it, and I just couldn't pass that up. I have replaced with a EVGA 1060 3gb SSC that I bought off of craigslist for 150 that will get me by until 1070 prices stabilize.

Part Reviews

So far, so good. Very fast for web browsing, will test in more demanding games. Went with this processor instead of the 4560 due to it being two dollars more on Jet.com

Easy to build with. Only two ram slots but thats to be expected. Lots of guides to help with assembly in the box.

Video Card

So far so good. Plan to upgrade in the future along with my CPU when prices die down a little bit. Fit was a bit tight in my case but it works with no modification.

Great to build in. Cable management is doable, but I decided to leave it for a little later. Case was nice and small.

Operating System

Got this key from Ebay, works like a charm.

Was actually gifted to me from a friend. This keyboard is backlit, no RGB or anything. No complaints, the keys are a little loud but thats what you get these keys.

This is the RGB version of this mouse, I do like this mouse a lot, but I strongly dislike the free spinning mouse wheel. Can't really scroll at all with it. But other then that, its solid.

Nice build. Just out of interest, what monitor are you using?

I'm using a 27 inch Samsung Curved monitor. It's 1080 with a 60hz rate. It OC's to 72. Came with freesync and cost 200 and it was local. So I picked it up. Will probably switch to ultrawide though after a bit.

And thank you very much!

Sounds good

Love that case, but didn't pick it at the time because it was too tall to be portable.

BTW, please do check that the PSU you picked from the list is the EVGA 600B, yet the one you have on your build, judging by the photos and box, is the 600W, which is cheaper.

Other than that, nice build! And good to know you found a deal on that RX580, as well!

Yeah I tried to find that psu on the list but for some reason I couldn't find it? And I definitely recommend though if you ever decide to build with this case to get a modular or semi modular psu. And thanks! I managed to get it before the mining craze really ramped up.

Here it is. Yeah, PCPP is not using the retail name in its list, anyway...

Yeah, after building several SFF builds, I concur. You need a modular PSU. And if possible, sleeved cables because some units have quite hard cables.

Despite finding this a month later: This cute little cube has got some nice things in it for the price. Sleek looking and nice build!
