Description

Powerful college gaming, photoshop painting, travel-friendly PC. Those were all things that I looked for when I started researching builds near the end of August of 2014. Yeah, I chose a locked processor because of the price and I felt that this model was still good enough for my GTX 970. I ran heaven maxed out and got this score: http://puu.sh/eDc9d/2eeca83a80.png (Stock GPU) http://puu.sh/eHny1/b0eb5a232c.png (Overclocked GPU)

I'm really happy with how my build went! c: I named my PC Soyeon, because I am a big fan of the South Korean pop girl group, T-ara! c:

Oh yeah, funny story, I forgot to plug in the 4pin to 8 pin power connector to power the motherboard so that set me back a few hours (I forgot to plug it in at first, then I plugged it in upside down on the mobo....)

Then I also did not know how to plug in the LED and power switch and reset button onto the motherboard. I played around with this for about two hours then I decided to look at the manual and it told me I had them in the incorrect orientation. Yeah I suck.

Bought windows 8 from a vendor on Reddit for $10 usd. Also, the build costed around 7.75% more than what the price on PCPP says because of tax.

Yeah, I believe so. I haven't had a problem yet so far. Even when overclocking my GPU to the max, there has been no problems. I do not know how to check how many watts I'm pulling from the wall though, so I cannot say how close or far I am from the limit. This PSU is extremely well build though with a 37a on the 12+v rail.

how are your cpu temps with the stock cooler? I am toying with idea of just running the stock cooler myself
