Description

The prime objective was to build a discreet system which can handle BF4 and Video Production. The Fractal case was chosen for it's compact dimensions and minimalist front design. Together with the best 2013 Haswell, i7-4770k enthusiast processor and a reliable ASUS Repulic of Gamers motherboard (the micro-atx Maximus VI Gene provides modern specs but allows bit extra space for air circulation) and a full complement of 32GB Elite Crucial ram - this baby packs a punch!

The Motherboard has slots for a wifi/bluetooth adaptor and a SSD M.2 NGFF, which runs my Win7. The Graphics card is the oldest thing inside and I will be future upgrading the GFX and transitioning to 1TB SSD's over time. Noctua cooling is regarded as the best in-class solution and special mention to the Prolimatech slimline fans which are sexy engineering.

Very nicely done, super clean, especially considering the form factor! Good pics too. I like the look of those Prolimatech fans and that Noctua cooler, how are your temps?

big +1 from me, one of the coolest builds I've seen in a while

Nice job and great pictures. The ones with that huge cooler standing above everything remind me of the alien ships rooming the countrysides in the movie War of The Worlds. I'm surprised you didn't go for a higher end video card though. The other parts would have led me to expect an R9. I'm also curious as to why so much memory? Does video work really require that much? Anyway, this is a killer looking system.
