Description

This was my first true build in that I bought all the parts brand new for the PC and put it all together in one build over the course of a couple days. I had an older i7 2600k build that I had been handed down and had added and rebuilt into a personal gaming computer so I am relatively experienced in PC building. That being said this particular build was one that would test my knowledge to its fullest extent and I am proud to say came out very well. This build will last me a few years and will treat me very well I am sure.

I will not do a summary of my parts as most of you are knowledgeable enough to figure that out on your own but I will answer any and all questions that you might have.

Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy my creation.

P.S. The G10/H75 was used to water-cool my GTX 970.

Nice! It seems that this build is pretty similar to what a lot of people are doing. Similar case, CPU/GPU. The one distinguishing aspect of my build though that I'm proud of is my water cooler 970 the bracket just looks so clean. Good luck with your build though, I hope to see it in here soon!

I like the look of this build a lot. I had a question about the GPU bracket that you used. Have you noticed any heating issues with your 970?

Hey there thank you very much, I consistently have about 30c while idling and a max of about 45c under load. It runs very very cool and quiet. That being said I had an issue way back with this same bracket on overheating and I believe the issue was that the heat sink on the water cooler came loose and wasn't making full contact with the VRAM chip on the GPU. This time though I made sure the bracket and water cooler was fully secured and tightened.

Where did you mount the gpu cooler?

The cpu cooler is on the top part of the case. The gpu cooler is mounted on the front part, there are front fans on the h440.
