Description

This is my main build featuring the new Define R5 as well as some great high-end hardware. It has served me well for the coupe of weeks I have been using it as well as it can handle some pretty tough load. I do some rendering, video editing, and (of course) gaming.

The i7 4790k is the brains of this build, it is a crazy amazing processor and can do the job right. I haven't overclocked it yet but I am planning to in the near future

My GPU is the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE. It is a great card, and I have been doing some over clocking to this. I didn't overclock the VRAM too much but I tried to push the core/boost clock.

My GAMING 5 motherboard has fantastic sound quality.

My case looks great and was very easy to build in. My only complaint was that the design of the case prevented me from plugging in the front IO USB 3.0 ports. There are a total of four USB ports on my front IO as two are 2.0 (the 2.0 still work) and two are 3.0. However, it isn't that big of a complaint because I have around 8'ish 3.0 ports on my motherboard alone. I also had a random USB 3.0 PCI expansion just laying around; convenient huh?

My RAM holds up great

And basically all my other components are working great for me and I have had zero complaints.

I will update with more pictures in the future!

Can you specify what you mean by not being able to plug in the USB 3.0?

I'm getting this case, and it lists 2x USB 3.0, but not having 3.0 is a little bit of a deal breaker.

For the two USB 3.0 ports on the front IO, I wasn't able to get the header plugged into my motherboard. This particular case has an incline towards the right side of the motherboard while mounted. The USB 3.0 header isn't facing upwards but is facing towards the incline. So due to the position of the header on my motherboard, I wasn't able to plug the case USB 3.0 header into the motherboard's. I'm sure that the case 3.0 USB works fine, I just had issues with installing it on the motherboard.

Well this is the same motherboard and case i am getting but ive seen countless other people also with the same motherboard and case and all they do is plug in the usb 3.0 chord in and than have it go straight through the grommet and through the back of the case. Also ive seen people plug the chord in and run the cable above the grommet. It may be a tight fit in some places you try and plug it in but you just have to make it fit.
