Description

I use this machine for everyday work, but I also use it as my primary gaming device. I can play just about any title on ultra (all settings), and Bioshock Infinite looks incredible. I'm waiting to get ahold of BF4 in order to test out how my computer holds up to the new frostbite engine. I created this build (my very first build) as a way to have space to expand. I hope to gather a second set of memory sticks to bring my RAM up to 16GB and possibly add another GPU and link it with Crossfire. Also I will eventually add another SSD and 2TB Mechanical Drive. The only real trouble I had when building was the complexity of the CPU after-market cooler. It seems to do wonders for my temps, but I had a BEAST of a time installing it. It required both hands for both my wife and I and it was still pretty hard to keep it centered on the CPU without smearing the thermal paste. Otherwise I'm really proud of my research and VERY happy with my end results so far. I build it in April and have been enjoying it since.

You should rotate the photos.

I'm having trouble rotating the photos :-( I have rotated the files on the computer, but they seem to re-adjust themselves when I upload the images.

If it's bothering you, try uploading all the photos to http://www.imgur.com and then give us a link to the album.

It's a bug with the image processing here - I'll see if I can get it fixed. (If so, it should auto-correct in your uploaded album.

Very nice, though I'm sure you could've found a better deal on a 7950 if you had looked harder. Also, what's your opinion on that case?

In any case, happy gaming. :)

Good prices, except for the 7950, could have gotten a 280X with that card budget. Other than that though a really nice build.
