Description

Herbert is an update of my older Intel system to my first AMD based one. It's pure beast mode.

This build reuses a number of components from the previous one.

The MSI mobo was quite nice to work with and the aio water cooler does what it says and connects into the rgb system.

The m.2 nvme drives are speedy and painless.

The video card is complete overkill... and I love it.

Added a few more pics. Machine has been working flawlessly.

I feel like once you're changing out the motherboard that's an entirely new system, not an upgrade. But either way it's a beast.

Rly dope! How is the Thermaltake cooler, btw? Interested to hear how it cools the beast of a CPU in your system

Thanks a lot!

I'm enjoying the thermaltake cooler. Remarkably easy install. Temps seem to be managed well (zero issues) - and I still have a little tuning in the bios to do for it. 8 hour raid session on breakpoint and it didn't break a sweat. In Aida64 the temps stayed really stable at about 75C. So no complaints.

Wow! That's fantastic! Practically makes me jealous, considering my measly CoolerMaster ML240L can't even handle 5GHz overclocking on my i9-9900k without reaching 90c
