Description

2003 - PCChips M938 socket 478 Pentium 4 2.8Ghz - desktop used for the upcoming release of FFXI

2005 - AsRock 775Dual Vsta socket 775 Pentium 4 672 3.8Ghz - new DDR2 and a better graphic card

2014 - AsRock Z97 Fatality LGA 1150 Intel Core i5 4690K 3.5Ghz - keeping up with the times but refuse to trash the case

Love Micro Center

CPU - got to love that price compared to anywhere else

MoBo - $40 off for buying the CPU and another $25 in rebates

Memory - eh, can't win them all buy decent price for the current time

HDD - for daily internet use and MS Office this is a nice HDD for a very nice price

PSU - yeah could be better but this case doesn't have a lot of ventilation so gaming isn't ideal for this case

DVD - yeah it's 2014 but I still use mine

USB - one way to add 3.0 USB front ports and had to fill that hole left by a "3.5" floppy drive" since I don't have the plate

Fan - no vents like today's cases so I added one in the only vented spot

You and me both, I look back and think, what was I thinking when I got that. I check back in 10 years to see if my thoughts were any better

Though I am worried about airflow in this case, I'm in love with it's charming looks! Nice build +1

so far airflow has not been a problem, temperatures have been very steady and consistent but don't think I could do a heavy duty graphics card.

it was so horrible that I relocated everything to a better horrible case that I will post later this week. Just picture everything moved over into a Apevia Cruiser, the original one. I am thinking of just getting a Thermaltake V3 Black Edition since it's a cheap case that at least meets some standards of today. If I find a cheap case that has some cable management that will be better.
