Client build, wanted a full setup keyboard, mouse, monitor, and OS that he can game and work on now, and once more money comes in he can upgrade the hell out of it and have a beast of a machine. After talking with him he decided he didn't want to go with the low end X series and build off of that platform and had reservations about the Ryzen platform since it was still new and all. So this is what we came up with.

I wonder why a Z-board with a 1050Ti? Maybe considering upgrading the GPU in the future? This rig is high-end, as far as I can tell, but the card is pretty nonetheless.

He needed a computer for work asap but didn't have the money to go all out this second, so I put him on a platform that will allow him to upgrade this into a monster has the money came in. The 1050ti would at least allow him to game at med/high (more high after the monster OC on the card) now and still have room to grow in the future.

Did you have trouble fitting the Hyper 212 Evo into this case? It looks like it wont fit from the measurements!

It fit all on its own, BUT it was a close one, if you push on the window it will touch the heatsink.

Thanks! I'll try and squeeze it! :-)

Nice build bro!!

I was thinking about to buy this case, do you think my Cooler Master 212 LED Turbo would fit on this? It is 0,4 cm taller than the EVO.

Thx buddy, enjoy this awesome build :)

Very slim possibility, the heat pipes coming out of the top of the fin were microns away from the window. But you can always test for science and get back to us!

He didn't want to wait for the money to come in to up his budget for a better card, he needed it now with plans to upgrade to a 1080 in the coming months, before we put the M.2 drive in we had enough for a 1060 6GB but he said he would still want to upgrade to a 1080 anyway so we decided to save the money and go with a lower end GPU now and put the overhead into an SSD and into savings for his 1080.
