After having dealt with a laptop that constantly over heated, I decided to build a computer. I mean after all, it seemed like a good idea, and it has worked quite well! I wanted to stay beneath $800, but the specs I wanted just couldn't be crammed under there while using quality components. $900 isn't bad for a high school gaming rig! I also had a few bad experiences with Microcenter during this build, but nothing serious (They gave me a PCI-E Wireless card when I asked for a PCI one, 32-bit windows when I asked for 64-bit, and straight up lost a video card I pre-ordered online) Overall, I had a great time building it, and am having a better time playing my new games on it! >:)
P.S. For those of you who don't get the reference, Deep Thought is the computer from Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy. It came up with the answer to life the universe and everything -- 42.
