Description

I built this machine early August of this year, using it for Gaming and Productivity (Recording videos, editing, Graphics Design, streaming etc.).

Everything went well while buidling it except I had some trouble getting the Wraith Spire cooler on, but it worked out. Also just a warning for you out there planning on getting the 270R. Mounting a HDD is quite difficult from my experience atleast.

Booting it went okay, the motherboard leds lit up the first time but the power button didnt work, realized I plugged in the front panel connectors in the wrong order. Was quite easily fixed anyways.

Planning on upgrading the cpu cooler in the future to a Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi or the H7 Ultra? depending on the price. After that I'm getting some custom sleeved cables (24 Pin and a 8+6 pin for the gpu). Got a 20% coupon on Cablemod with my Mobo so I better use it haha. Then last off I might get another 8x2GB kit for some extra ram.

Also I got 2 BeQuiet! Purewings 2 140mm fans, forgot to put them in the part list :D

Shared a pic of the finished PC and some terrible quality WIP ones haha

Part Reviews

CPU

Great for all my needs, only bad thing about it is that idle temps are high with the included stock cooler.

Motherboard

Worked amazing for, no problems at all. Only thing though would probably be to include one more case fan port as it only has 3 right now. Found a solution for my 4th fan to plug it into the optional cpu fan port.

Memory

Extremely easy to install as with all ram and very sexy ;)

Storage

Great SSD for the price, dont know what more to say to be honest.

Storage

I took this hdd from my old PC as it already had a 1TB in it which was enough for my sister to install Sims on.

Video Card

Great performing card, would appreciate if it came with a backplate at this pricepoint though.

Case

A great looking case, especially at this price. Has quite good cable management but could use some more holes here and there to route cables through. The biggest problem for me atleast was mounting the SSD and HDD in the back. The way you mount them is extremely inconvenient. The manual lacked alot too. Wasn't sure which screws to use to mount the HDD but found some that worked in the end.

Power Supply

Great PSU, fully modular and everything. What more can I say haha.

Hey, I just want to know how does your PC run? Is this build good, is there anything wrong with it?

I was gonna get a 2700X but this build made me switch to a 2600X. I have a 1300$ budget and if I went with the 2700X, it would be like $1353.72 or something like that, saved a lot of money switching to the 2600X and put it to the SSDs and stuff!
