Description

Built it for games. Tried to find the best (aka cheap) values. Was able to put the machine together for roughly $800 using Black Friday deals and very selective purchasing. Runs Arma2 at 1920x1080 with max settings without a hitch. I haven't seen cpu or gpu over 60 degrees yet despite throwing everything I can at it. Pretty amazing seeing as my old gtx470 would hit 80+ in just about any game.

Only real complaint is the PSU is a cable monster. I couldn't really get the cable situation as tame as I would have liked.

The case is an oddball (Ultra Defender mid-tower), but actually pretty decent for the thirty-odd bucks I spent on it.

What;s the need of 16 gigs?

RAM was cheap. Thus, 16 gigs. 70 bucks. Why not? EDIT: I probably should have gone for 8 at half the price, but I was feeling adventurous at the time.
