Description

I'm using this machine for gaming and for general computer use. Everything fit nice and snug. Just a few small problems: The case has a front grille for another fan, but it doesn't have any dust filtering on it, and the semi-modular PSU has quite short cables. I was able to fit all of them through the cable management though, except for the CPU power, which had to be routed around the front of the motherboard. So far everything is working perfectly. I am currently copying files and games across so I will update this with how it runs soon, and 3DMark results.

It looks quite nice indeed.

You went excessive on some things if this is purely for gaming, but I suppose it'll just last longer that way.

I would love to see some internal pictures.

Before even looking at the build I wanted to +1 it because of the name. Then I realized how great the build is and I gave you +2, but that isn't possible.

Yet another overkill build. I honestly hope this isn't fueling one 1080p monitor.

Really, how is this an 'overkill' build? Seems like a well-budgeted PC that can perform games at max settings. You might consider giving constructive criticism as to what parts the builder could have selected as an alternative, but they probably picked what they wanted anyway and will disregard any 'advice' you have at this point.

You don't have to look very far to find that an i5 performs the same in gaming and 8GB of RAM is more than enough for most home computers. Nothing about this build is budgeted or balanced.

You seem pretty certain on your answer by implying that "nothing" overall is right for this person. Perhaps you're right; I'm not going to waste your time arguing about his or her specs ;) Enjoy your rig edeetee

I've got 2 monitors that I am planning to set up with a bit of an eyefinity setup. However, this build was largely built for longevity.
