Description

Finally managed to fund myself to build my first decent PC right before heading to University.

It took me around 7 hours to build and I had spent prior to the build well over 2 years of watching videos on components of a PC and learning the process of building one. From my experience, I can say that it was all worth it! Nothing more sweet than clicking the power button to see that the PC is booting and working correctly.

Thank you PcPartPicker for all the information that you've provided for this build. Also AweOfTech as well as Bitwit for the build guides. They won't see this but it's the thought that counts, merci!

I actually planned on getting the Corsair H100i V2 cooler at first but once I saw the NZXT Kraken, had to have it xD

The motherboard is really good especially if you're looking to overclock. If you get an unlocked CPU as well as decent RAM you can overclock so easily in the BIOS. I've got my CPU to 4.5GHz and manged to bump up the RAM to 3000MHz (can do more but it's more than enough for now).

It has the same BIOS as the Plus version, this video gives a good description.

I mean it's also a really good looking board so you won't regret going for it :D
