Description

I use this build as my primary gaming rig. Really happy with how it came together. Paired with a Dell S2716DG monitor, this thing chews through the latest games at 60fps or higher, even with RTX on.

The part of the build that I'm most impressed with is the case. For £60 this thing is great: 4 included fans (3 RGB), excellent cable management, tempered glass side window and PSU shroud. I'm sure there are plenty of better cases around, but nothing can touch this in the price bracket.

*UPDATE 22/12/2019

I swapped out the corsair vengeance for 32gb G Skill Trident Z RGB ddr4 3466mhz (4x8gb)

Hi! Nice configuration! Wouldn't you have to make a BIOS update? Looking forward to an answer. Thank you, F.P.

Yes I did. I tried requesting the bios upgrade kit from AMD but didn’t really get anywhere. As I’m so impatient I ended up buying an Athlon 200ge for £40, upgrade the bios, then returned it!

Are you using stock cooler? And is it decent?

Yes and yes, so far... I haven’t really been keeping too much of a close eye on temps but haven’t noticed any throttling. I’ve been playing Modern Warfare, Destiny 2 and Control at 1440p, all of which see cpu usage of between 40-50%.

I bought the 3600 knowing that there isn’t really any over clocking headroom but I’m happy with the stock performance. It gives extremely good bang for buck and is a great pairing with the 2070 Super.

very nice build, extremely similar to the pc i'm going to start building soon, but yes, i would have gone with some g skill trident z ram just to enhance the look and obviously improve the speed of the ram. But over all well done!
