Id look at getting a second stick of ram. That dual channel will make the build perform faster

I just got this mobo as part of the components for my son's Christmas gift. After I purchased it, I started actually reading the reviews for it on Amazon, instead of just looking at the overall rating. A lot of people on there said it was either DOA, or they got it as part of a bundle that came with a Ryzen 2600, but that the correct BIOS weren't on it so they had to somehow find a 1st gen Ryzen to boot up and then update so they could use their CPU. Did you have any issues with yours? I'm going to be nervous until after Christmas when he's able to build it and I know if it works or not.

No, I didn't face any issues because mobo came with updated bios

Thanks. I actually opened everything and connected it all up to motherboard today while he was gone to see if it would post. It did so I’m good. I figured I’d make sure everything is good now, that way if something didn’t work I could replace it before Christmas.
