I see that you've specified video editing as a main thing you'll be doing, but that does require a good graphics card... Especially on a widescreen display, does the RX 470 work well?

It does. Works pretty well. In some games i have to turn down some settings like msaa. But its not a huge compromise. Im pretty happy with the way it turned out to perform

Anyways in a near future i will upgrade to a 1080ti / rx 490. But i always ve been a huge fan of amd plus the monitor has freesync. So im pretty sure it will be the 490

team green has been more user friendly/ more support. i has a rx480 and has=d nothing but issues, if i was u id upgrade to a 1060-1080

Amazing build btw with lots of potential to do whatever u want! looks clean!!!! may i suggest a better case to better show off your rig corsair 400c

i have the same psu and im planning to upgrade my cpu. I was just wondering, is it good for overclocking, have you ever had any issues with it?

zitrussCEx submitter 1 Build 2 points 11 months ago

i have it since 2014 , and it has been a solid choice . i oced my cpu to 5 ghz and it was pretty stable . but i decided to go down to 4.8 because of the heat it produced. You can overclock safely . unless you have an FX 9590 hehe.

thanks for the reply!

How you keep the CPU so cool at that Overclock? I have the same Case, the same cooler but a 4790k. Even without a overclock I have a higher temperature than you... why?

How do you have your fans rigged? The top as intake, the front panel aio as intake, and the rear as exhaust? Just curious. Thanks!
