Description

All the parts arrived a week ago, have been testing it and also overclocked it (4.4 ghz at stock voltage), im in love with my new build!, my graphics card haven't arrived yet but it's coming!. Hope you guys enjoy the build as much as I do. Sorry for the low quality photos but my iphone 4 camera is all I got hahaha.

EDIT: Just received my new mouse!, love the G303, looks amazing and feels amazing, I actually do like the shape but I have to say it's kinda weird tho, Posted a Photo of the mouse. Graphics card still incoming!

GPU FINALLY ARRIVED, Updated the photos, the performance is amazing and the temperatures never go over 75 C. I undervolted it a bit and now it never exceed the 68 C. Pretty good considering it's that close to the PSU.

Part Reviews

CPU

So far so good, overclocked to 4.4 ghz with stock voltage, awesome.

CPU Cooler

Perfect for this build, good and cheap!.

Motherboard

Great board, I love the wi-fi antenna that comes with it, the only downpoint is that usb 3.0 port on the middle of the board, pisses me off lol.

Power Supply

Amazing power supply, even the packaging feels premium.

Case Fan

Connected to the power supply runs too slow, I don't know why.

Very nice build and I would really be interested in GPU temperatures. I want to move my build from an ELITE 110 to this case and change my GPU from the reference to the MSI RX480 Gaming. It would be great to know what temps to expect. ;-)

Anyways, enjoy your build.

Hey, the gpu arrived! I undervolted it to 1050 mV and it never exceeds 69 C. My room temperature is around 28 C

Nice. I actually had the chance to shortly test that gpu in my system already, because a buddy of mine bought it. One thing I found was pretty great was setting the temp target a bit higher. That way it gets really, really quiet. Not that it was loud at the stock settings. Undervolting is pretty great too. Congrats.

Updated!

I just changed my reference 480 to the MSI all thanks to your precious feedback. Thank you. It sits at 72°C under load, but has not been undervolted yet.

simple end clean i like it also one question did you struggle like i did with the limited space for the psu cables

thewalkerpeter submitter 2 Builds 1 point 29 months ago

Thanks man, yes, the power supply may be a bit larger for this case, but wasn't that hard tho, the case does have good room for cable management.

Nice good cable management, simple, and powerful.

you connected the arctic fan directly to the psu? is it getting 12 volts?

thewalkerpeter submitter 2 Builds 1 point 29 months ago

Yes it is connected directly to the psu. I don't know about 12 volts tho.

MrXanthios 2 points 29 months ago

the only thing i can think about your fan running slow is that it is connected to a 5 volt lane instead of a 12 volt one, otherwise I've no idea, maybe it's something else. If you have a friend that knows about electronics and stuff you can make him check it out

thewalkerpeter submitter 2 Builds 1 point 29 months ago

It's connected to a molex connector with an adapter, that may be the problem, but thanks for the help man.
