Description

I use this PC for typical home computing and maybe light gaming. I am not using Windows, so 4gb of ram is fine for right now. I bought all of these components at Micro Center, and with In Store pick up I got the motherboard for $10. I am pleased so far with my first build. The Lian Li case is great, it blows out cool air and cable management is not a problem with the modular Corsair 430 watt PSU. If you are running a Linux OS I recommend a similar build, with maybe 8 gb of ram.

You can add custom prices to your parts, if you'd like.

After rebates everything was about $350. The first motherboard ($10.00), I did not mount correctly and it touched the tray and shorted out, so I went and bought another one which cost more at Fry's, but still the rebates saved me from going over $400 which was my budget. I should get a government contract, I came in below my own bid.

I will try and add some tomorrow, and tie the cables up prettier.
