Description

Here's my build using the Fractal Design R6 white TG case. Still have a few more things to get like the NZXT RGB fans, although I do like the white fans that came with the case and a future upgrade will also be RGB RAM.

It was really easy to build in, the only problem I had was trying to find a place for the NZXT Hue Lights as the way I have it laid out internally without using the full case leaves little room to put them.

The Fractal Design PCIe Riser worked a treat and was of decent quality holding the up the Titan XP with ease.

Overall temps are as good as they should be and the pure white case just looks gorgeous with that tempered glass.

The build has been quite pricey so far but taking my time with it.

Heres a video on YouTube of the PC:

Update Just replaced the black 3000mhz RAM with the 16Gb Corsair RGB Pro (white) 3200mhz, looks great! Pointless performance wise but wanted white RAM to tie it in more with the case.

That case is super clean! I think I may have found my next case ...

The pictures don't do it justice, it is a really clean looking case, sort of 'classy clean' if that makes sense.

I made a silly video of it (dodgy music with the NZXT lights) on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JURaH2HO-Ik
Just to let others see the case a bit more as before I got the case I struggled to find builds in white.

That GPU looks incredible. May the force be with you.

Will be interesting to see if Nvidia carry on with this type of custom GPU.

The force is strong with this one...

That's a feature for sure. I love the GPU, I wish I wasn't so incredibly poor.

Looks great, had a phanteks enthoo Pro with that look (previous case) wanted to get away from the dark look though. Does look really good, got to admit.

Awesome build man, I'm not usually one to go for the black and red but you really pulled it off. Also, do you have any higher temps running your GPU vertical like that? I have the same case, and wouldn't mind running my GPU the same way.

There would not be any bottleneck ...

I haven't been looking out for bottlenecking as it's been running smooth and I haven't really stressed tested it yet but as I remember the CPU cores have remained much below what the GPU is at. I will keep an eye on it next time I play Battlefield one in 4k HDR to give a more accurate answer.

at high graphics settings, you have to be MUCH more concerned with a GPU bottlenecking a CPU than the opposite. even still, an i7 from two generations ago is still a very powerful chip.

I have thought about upgrading the CPU but the i7 6700k has been great. I have slightly overclocked mine to 4.4Ghz. Maybe June next year for next one.
