Description

It has been awhile since I last built a PC but it always has been a fun and frustrating experience for me. This is the first build I made that has a theme though, I usually just build one without worrying about how messy the cables are or what it looks like inside so hopefully I did a decent job of making it a clean build. I really loved the DeadPool movie! But also black and red are my favorite colors so I decided to build my PC with the DeadPool theme. If you guys have any suggestion or comments for future builds or how to improve what I have now, just comment away!

Thanks!

Best Deadpool quote:

"All the politicians and the evil doers of the streets that are waist deep in darkness will look up and shout "Save us!". I'll look down and whisper... "Maybe after my hot pocket".

This is one awesome build. I reckon it also deserves a feature. You have definitely made my day. Take a +1.

This build makes me weak at the knees, seriously it's f@#@$ gorgeous. My one suggestion is, get some custom deadpool themed backplates for your GTX 980's it would make this an 11/10. +1 my friend, this kind of build shouldn't go un-noticed. cough feature please cough*

I got a custom emblem made for my build but the custom back plate suggestion is an awesome idea. I just wish I knew where to start in getting it done and done right!

check v1tech, they're taking orders for the design, you can send them any picture you want and they'll turn it into a backplate

This a amazing build. 1 question couldn't you have gone with 2 gtx 1070's instead?

  • 1 point

because I already had 2 GTX 980's and I do not feel I need that kind of power right now, so I will hold off and just get the newer GPU's for my next build. Still thinking what theme to do next :)

Great build. How did you get the carbon fiber look on the case interior and various components? Vinyl wrap?

I removed everything from my case and wrapped it in vinyl.

Wait how did you manage to use m.2 and 3 drives? I get a potential incompatibillity when i choose m.2. It says that 2 sata 6gb/s ports will be disabled when u use m.2. And the specs of the MOBO says that it has 2 sata 6gb/s ports and 2 sata express ports.

I'm about to embark on my first build using this case and the Corsair 115 CPU Cooler. Every build with this case has the radiator at the top, but some seem to face it as an exhaust and some as an intake. The fans are always on the inside, it seems. One article said that you should actually set it up as an intake because it cools the radiator and thus the CPU better, but blows hot air into the case, which also helps pressurize it better (anti-dust). But that seems counter-intuitive to me. This must be common knowledge because no one seems to talk about this or even say how they orient the CPU cooler. You have it set up as an exhaust? The fans blow the air out through the radiator out the top of the case?
Do you think I should use this big case if I need no 5.25 drives and only use one of the new 1080 GPUs, plus have only one HDD (and an M.2 SSD of course)? tHANKS

Why do you have 2 mice? Why sli 2 Gtx 980s when you can get a slightly better card for less with more performance?Other than that great build.

I know what you mean but at the time I went chroma crazy so I got it. It's not a bad mouse pad though, really liking it.
