Description

My Razer Gaming Machine. Been wanting to do a new build for awhile and being a fan of the Razer logo, I went with the Razer NZXT branded case and built around that. Not a Razer fan boy for the record. I only have a couple items actually from them, but the gear was easy to use for the color palette I was shooting for.

Please hit the vote arrows if you like the build!!!

Video Show casing the PC- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZWXjBgoQRY

Really hated the crappy smoked plastic window that comes with the case. Its really cheap and It scratches easily, plus you cant see anything on the inside. I replaced mine with glass and what a huge difference. It doesn't draw static electricity like the plastic and doesn't collect all that dust. Great for a better view.

I ran some side facing led strips that I ordered from a UK shop, to run around under the motherboard and it worked out well. You get a nice glow , shaping the components without the washed out color that everything gets with leds shining straight on the parts. Added UV reactive sleeved cables from the Icelandic company, ICEMODZ and UV green liquid and the inside pops out pretty well.

Thanks!

Harvey_TM 5 points 43 months ago

I like the purple(or blue) LED, the mix with the green looks awesome. It would have been too much green otherwise, nice build.

TechyinAZ 14 Builds 4 points 43 months ago

Pretty!! I would of never guessed a Z97-A would look so nice in a green environment.

Zeoheart 4 points 43 months ago

Matrix. Automatic +1

But in all seriousness, this is super fresh and you should be proud.

Smk54 3 Builds 4 points 43 months ago

Absolutely beautiful!

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 3 points 43 months ago

Appreciate! You some nice ones yourself!

CaptainwolfieXD 4 points 43 months ago

That green and purple look really good. At first I was thinking that looks weird, but after I started looking at it!! It looks so amazing. Nice build, Nice job!!!!

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 2 points 43 months ago

Hey thanks. The purple was a side effect of the uv and actually in person isn't as bad but the camera really picked that color. Overall though, I don't mind it.

Cibex 3 points 43 months ago

WOW..oh ....WOW! +1Trillion Ok so thanks to you I now have to COMPLETELY re plan my build! Thanks a lot....no seriously thanks I love the cpu cooler you used and the UV sleeves. Would def make my green theme pop. Epic build bro!

Hot damn, Mama call the Fireman. +1

Jibba897 1 Build 3 points 43 months ago

What liquid did you use in the Raijintek triton? I find the stock colour doesn't last very long and this looks great. +1

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 43 months ago

This is the stock liquid. I spoke with the company before buying and the green was the only color with the UV properties. I have all the specs for liquids required for this AIO cooler for anyone that wants to get something new. The direct links from RAIJINTEK

DECENT!

Swatop113 1 Build 2 points 43 months ago

Badass man. Makes me want to put some lights in mine. It's a little plain at the moment, especially compared to yours. Favorite games to max out on this puppy?

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 43 months ago

Working on Dying Light at the moment. The New Shadow of Mordor with the high resolution texture pack is crazy too. I play CS GO also but that's all about low rez

totally_not_nicky 2 points 43 months ago

Amazing job. Sweet looking pc. Green colour schemes can be hard to do and damn, u did it great

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 43 months ago

That's much appreciated. I really like how it came out myself

Revosok 2 points 43 months ago

Have you ever seen the thousand dollars a day lottery commercial? Well this is what I would do. Brilliant work chap.

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 43 months ago

Nice. Although you would only have to spend two days worth...

mthorn 2 points 43 months ago

Really nice build! How do you like the HyperX Cloud II? That is the headset I'm currently looking at. I'd like it to be open, but I saw this had good reviews especially for the price. Also, is that the stock color of the CPU cooler (does the LED make the color or is the liquid green) with it glowing more because of the UV LEDs?

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 43 months ago
  1. Love the Hyper X...best headphones Ive had so far. Thats from someone who cant really deal with headphones being on for long and I can wear these all day.
  2. That is the stock color of the CPU cooler and liquid. Liquid is green with UV properties if you have UV lights. And the the leds are green.
mthorn 2 points 43 months ago

Also in regards to the liquid cooler. I read a review where the liquid was clear and it came with red, blue and green dye. Did yours come like that our already dyed green? I see newegg sells them as a specific color but didn't know if they really are all the same or not.

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 43 months ago

Yea I think sending the dye separate was the old way of shipping it. It comes with it pre-installed now. As far the unit itself goes, all the same . They just changed the type of liquid now and it's pre colored

Vanillasky 1 Build 2 points 33 months ago

I have the version where you have to dye it yourself. Do you know if the dye they send is the same green that you have pre-filled? I'm guessing it should be but just in case you know for sure that would be helpful. Love your build by the way, it certainly inspired and influenced my copycat build but in an S340. Love those braided cables too. I'm going to pop over to icemodz to do a but of shopping me thinks :-)

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 32 months ago

The dye came pre filled for me. Within a couple.months you gave to put more in there anyways as it evaporates eventually

marklund 2 points 43 months ago

AMAZINGNESS

cheme917 1 Build 2 points 43 months ago

Great build! I was thinking of adding uv light to mine to. May I ask, how did you change the case's window? Could you maybe upload a picture from the inside? Thanks

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 43 months ago

The case window was a cheap plastic held to the inside of the door with metal tabs. I simply pulled the tabs up with small pliers, pulled the plastic window out and then removed the tabs by bending them back and forth till they snapped off. I measured the window and then picked up glass that was about an inch bigger on all sides from Lowes. I used double sided gorilla tape to make it stay. Just watch the glass edges when you do this. I cut the myself pretty good smoothing the tape out around the edges.

cheme917 1 Build 1 point 43 months ago

Thanks for the quick response! Again, awesome job.

PhatJap 2 points 42 months ago

Great looking build - was looking at replicating something similar to yours - but with a different fan configuration. Originally was going to go with a black/blue h440 but saw your UV razer build and decided to switch, in the process of massing parts for mine.

Quick question - I was also looking at ICEMODZ back when I was going with the UV blue build for mine - what length UV LEDs did you order from them? I'm trying to visualize how long and where I'm going to install....

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

I believe I went with 11 or 12 inch and placed one up top and one below in front of the psu shroud . You probably could line one in the hard drive bays also. I have all my hdd rails removed for better airflow and accessibility.

PhatJap 1 point 42 months ago

Yeah I was planning on doing so - removing the HDD rails for airflow as well. I was thinking one up top and one below as well as you stated, but was wondering if you had a long 2m cable and just went all the way around - guess not :-)

Thanks for getting back to me!

Weazy 2 points 34 months ago

Btw, could you possible give me any tips since I'm planning on building a PC (first time) with the Intel 4590, MSI gtx 960 2gb OC, and an ASrock H97 Anniversary mobo, 8gb DRR3 ram. Are these ok? If not is there anything you would recommend for around 600-700 dollars?

HaOx 2 points 33 months ago

I have the same pc case and man, I am JEALOUS great choices man!

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 32 months ago

Thanks man. I feel it came out really clean

HaOx 1 point 32 months ago

it did, the two tone purple and green is so clean

LastRaven17 2 points 24 months ago

I am always happy when I see someone else painting the rings of the Corsair fans, with them being removable and having multiples that come with them, they are perect for experimentation. Nice build, though that is an interesting cable comb on the GPU.

evantartags 2 points 16 months ago

Quick question is the cable management good in the case? Thx and love the build

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 16 months ago

Yes its great

evantartags 1 point 16 months ago

okay thx

evantartags 1 point 16 months ago

sorry i could not get back to you quick

Jyrone 2 points 13 months ago

Needs a Ryzen CPU... of course they were not out when you build it, but I would upgrade. Love the color scheme!

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

Yea i want to upgrade now. New streaming setup hopefully soon

london4x4 2 points 12 months ago

looks awesome

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

Thanks!

london4x4 2 points 12 months ago

where did you get the cpu cooler

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

Got from Newegg, but since retired it

chazfisher10 1 point 43 months ago

Is there room there for a 2nd 980 in sli and how would you configure it.

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 43 months ago

There's plenty of room. All depends on the mobo you get. Not sure what you mean about the configuration

kainee 1 Build 1 point 43 months ago

Nice build sir!

adamquinny 1 point 42 months ago

where did you get the leds from?

a796959xpo 1 point 42 months ago

What exact paint did you use for the corsair fans you put in for the water cooler? Awesome Green!

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 2 points 42 months ago

The paint is called Blaze Green Plastidip. Comes in a spray can from any hardware store. Its also UV reactive

a796959xpo 1 point 42 months ago

Really apriciate that man, thanks! Your build is so sick!!!!!!!!

Adam_khalfi 1 point 42 months ago

How did you change the side mirror on the case??

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

I'm assuming you mean the window? I removed it, removed the tabs that hold the plastic window and replaced with glass that measured one inch larger on both sides to have room to use Gorilla tape to mount it.

TrifinityNation 1 point 42 months ago

SO the liquid itself is sorta glowing from the blackligh t?

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

Yes the green liquid is UV reactive

loltralisk 1 point 42 months ago

I can't find links to some of the needed parts, if you could provide me with them, that'd be fantastic. I need links to the following; ICEMODZ Led UV lighting, Custom Side Facing Led Strips Green, ICEMODZ Custom Green and Black Sleeved cables - How many of these and of which kind did you buy? 4pin 6pin 8pin, which?

Thank you! I'm looking to replicate this 100% If you could be so kind as to answer.

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

http://www.icemodz.com/#!/Single-Color-LED-Strip-choose-size-Color/p/23031229/category=5346676

Pick the colors and sizes there. I have two UV strips, both 30 cm I believe.

http://www.icemodz.com/#!/Custom-PSU-Cables/c/7063815/offset=0&sort=normal

You can specify in the order what colors and how you want them laid out.

loltralisk 1 point 42 months ago

How many greens did you exactly get? I know you have the ones for the motherboard.

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

I forgot I got 4 side facing led strips from a different company based out of Britain.

I will have to dig up that info

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 0 points 42 months ago
loltralisk 1 point 42 months ago

Last question kind sir, where did you get the spinning fan with the Dragon? You have my 100 percent respect for responding in detail. Thank you very much

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 0 points 42 months ago

I dont know what spinning fan with a dragon you mean...I dont have any dragon stuff on here

[comment deleted]
JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 0 points 42 months ago

As far as the sleeved cables i bought 1 cpu 8 pin, 2 GPU power cables(those might different for you depending on GPU type) , One 24 pin, and 2 sleeved sata cables

DevArc 1 Build 1 point 41 months ago

does your avexir ram glow green? thanks looks great i will be finishing my razer h440 build in the next month (: keep up the good work!!

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 41 months ago

Yes it glows and pulses green

DevArc 1 Build 1 point 41 months ago

where did you get it could you link it to me and do you know if come in2x8 1866 ? thanks so much it looks very sweet!!

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 41 months ago

http://m.ncixus.com/products/search?q=avexir

The ram overclocks to over 3200. Just get the stick size and color you like

DevArc 1 Build 1 point 41 months ago

did you overclock your ram, if you did how high did you? and thank you

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 41 months ago

I didn't oc the ram. Doesn't really make much of a difference in performance. Performance gains are more through the ssd and cpu

Pokes36 1 point 41 months ago

Really love the build I'm trying to decide between this case and the 750d, could I fit a corsair h110i gt with a push pull config on the top? Also what are your idle temps for your gpu, and cpu?

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 0 points 41 months ago

There should be plenty of room for a push pull config. The cooler on the Corsair is smaller than mine so you should be fine.

As far as the temps go, I idle at 25-30 I believe. Its been awhile since I checked.

Ph023 1 point 41 months ago

What mouse pad is that? Great build btw!

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 0 points 41 months ago

That is an Aorus pad. 1000 x 400 mm. Spillproof also.

Recent video of the build if your interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZWXjBgoQRY

Ph023 2 points 41 months ago

Wow that is amazing, I am going to build mine in the same case actually so I got some questions as it is my first build, is the case quality good? And did is the liquid cooling as good as a Corsair H100i? And of course how the installment and cable management was. I really appreciate any help I can get and I understand if you don't want to answer any questions! Again really cool build :)

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 0 points 41 months ago

The case quality is great. I had no issues at all with the cable management. As far as the cooling goes, the Rajintek system has been flawless and keeps the cpu as cool as the Corsair. I went with that cooling solution as it comes in green and that green is also UV reactive. Please feel free to look through my comments as I have some answered questions regarding the cables and other things. Any way I can help just let me know!

Ph023 1 point 41 months ago

How did you get the RAM to blink? heh..

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 0 points 41 months ago

Its the type of Ram. Avexir Core series. Comes in a number of colors and its one of the best ram companies in the world. The potential OC is +3200 for this particular ram

Mrdaddy 1 point 40 months ago

hello how much it cost in total,i am new on building your own computer, i like your work dude, are you building and selling that like computer? thanks

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 0 points 40 months ago

please check the parts list for the exact amount, but without monitor you're looking at around 2500 or so

Jperk23 1 point 40 months ago

Love your build. Where did you end up plugging your UV and green led strips into?

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 2 points 40 months ago

Thanks for the love! There is a hub in the back of the case for fans and led or whatever uses three pin plugs.

Jperk23 1 point 40 months ago

Thanks for responding! I have one more question. How is that PSU that your using? Are you utilizing those 2 extra PCI 6-pin connectors?

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 38 months ago

I dont use them. Use only what is required ...at least until i have another GPU in SLI

Buffgamer28 1 point 38 months ago

How do you like the headset I'm thinking about getting one

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 38 months ago

Best Headset I have ever owned. Thats coming from someone that in the past could not wear a headset more than 30 minutes at a time. I can wear these all day and the sound is incredible

BNGrocket 1 point 37 months ago

have you had any problems with that cooler like leaking and stuff because i've see problems with it

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 37 months ago

I have had zero issues with the cooler so far.

BNGrocket 1 point 37 months ago

nice overall a beast of a build good job +1

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 35 months ago

Thanks alot man!

Echo1 1 point 37 months ago

wait.. is that liquid glowing in that ranjiteck cooler, or did dou do something to the liquid to make it glow.

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 35 months ago

Liquid is UV reactive

xGesisAD 1 point 35 months ago

What a monster.

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 35 months ago

Thank you good sir

xGesisAD 1 point 35 months ago

Welcome man. I'm actually looking to build something fancy like this with a budget of £1250 which is about $1890, could you help me out? I can add a few more $$$ if necessary.

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 35 months ago

You can easily build this for that price. The monitors and extra peripherals are what drive that cost up.

tormenta_storm 1 point 35 months ago

Nice build sir.

RAZERFTW

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 2 points 35 months ago

Thank you Good Sir

Weazy 1 point 34 months ago

Ok there are many different types of builds... But sir, this is NO ordinary build. This looks so AWESOME! Love the parts, and DEFINETELY love the UV and the green scheme that's just really cool and creative dude +100,000,000,000,000,001

Weazy 1 point 34 months ago

Btw, I was wondering what tips you could possibly give me since I'm planning on building a descent PC (first time) with the Intel 4590 and the MSI gtx 960 2gb OC, with an ASrock H97 and 8gb of DDR3 ram. Are these ok for the range of a 600/700 dollar build? Is there anything you would recommend?

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 32 months ago

I really appreciate those awesome words man. I definitely wanted something clean, simple and different. Thanks again

crjxdiesel 1 point 32 months ago

where did you place your UV Greenlights if you have led strips sticked behind the mobo? i left a comment on your Youtube. :)

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 2 points 32 months ago

I placed them between the motherboard back and on the case. Right on the inside edge of the motherboard. There is a small space because the mob is on standoffs. All 4 sides. If the led strips are quality ,they have a good coat of soft plastic on top of the lights and won't damage the mobo

crjxdiesel 1 point 32 months ago

What connectors did you use for the lightings? Molex or 3pin connectors?

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 32 months ago

I have a 3 pin hub that came with the case. Fits 12 , 3 pin connections

crjxdiesel 1 point 32 months ago

Did you get the custom PSU cable set from Icemodz? And the sata cables, is this the one you got? http://www.icemodz.eu/#!/MDPC-X-Toxic-Green/p/58743017/category=16157749

Thank you good sir. Suprised people still find this build. Its so buried quite far back on the page

liquidforce134 1 Build 1 point 5 months ago

How are the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers?

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 1 point 5 months ago

Awesome. It's really too bad they don't make them anymore.

liquidforce134 1 Build 1 point 5 months ago

They still make them.

Yea I didn't pay 140 for that drive. 79 bucks last year

Does it really matter ? Its a reference thats all. Besides it says 86 bucks

[comment deleted]
JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 2 points 43 months ago

well I can't control what you see can I? are you in Canada? because what I see is $84 and that's what I paid. Besides, ordering off this website isn't the smartest idea. Better to research yourself. The one party pooper in the group....

JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 0 points 43 months ago

Yea thanks. I actually haven't seen anyone do it. I'm sure there is people out there but I could find much on the idea. I did some research and found a UK based company that makes a side ways facing led strip so light won't project straight up, but outwards

[comment deleted by staff]
JaredRoss submitter 1 Build 0 points 43 months ago

I honestly don't care about the product so much as the fact they have good looking gear and it was easy to use as a base for the build. I have the keyboard by them but prefer the corsair vengeance. I refuse to use the use the headphones also. But I love green and I love the Razer logo since forever ago so thus I built this Pc.
