This is a budget build with future proof planned. The client ask me to make sure that it will be SLI-able later down the road. So I did just that.
Enjoys. Feel Free to ask any questions, Ill be happy to answer them.
I would not want fire within my computer.
wow. Looks very nice :D
amazing pics, Nice build, and I love the white lights
Dat CPU and mobo price tho... holy crap...
budget and future proof are hard to pull off, decent job here on it especially with getting the red part theme included!
Very nicely done at a really good price! I like the look of that mobo! Excellent pics, a couple more of the fully assembled interior minus the side panel would be awesome
Very nice build, well chosen parts
Not bad. It's a good build, but I would've appreciated a better description. Either way, it still looks great.
Awesome build. +1 for amazing pictures, but nice components too.
great price on that CPU/mobo ... how'd you get that?
sales and refurb
This is a great build. The money is going to the right places and nothing is overspent on. I'm glad that you snagged a 970 board with good heatsinks!
Magnificent! Fenomenal! Brilliant! Such a build I can't even come up with words to describe it :) +1
very nice and clean build! +1
those prices are nice well done
i got the same deal from microcenter for CPU and MOBO. +1
damn those are some amazing pics
Love that light, any chance I could get a link?
they are logisys lights. this one come with two.
Yeah, budget... with a 760 and an 8320.
I only High End around $1600 or so. This build is a future proof machine, therefore it is at ~900.
How much did you sell this for?
We want to know, and we'll bug your for it until you give it to us :-)
not that much. It was for a buddy of mine. $600.
Great deal on CPU and MoBo, I have the same CPU and same GPU chip on my latest build!
How's the cooler?
it perform better than i thought
If the client ever does the SLI/CrossFire you mentioned, won't it be bottlenecked by the CPU, even though it's only a 760? Budget was so low :( !
It wont bottle neck at all as he already bought the second GPU.
Is the mobo stable enough for overclocking?
Did you need to do a BIOS update prior to using that Vishera CPU?
yea you need to
Did you need an older cpu to update the bios or were you able to do it with that cpu?
No you do not need to
was that cpu fan loud at times?
I like all the red. I tried a themed PC, uh... lets just say it didn't go well.
How is the cpu?
pretty good from what by client said.
whats the max power intake on that mobo?
Awesome specs! Plus there, s some stuff similar to what I want to put in mine, lol. The only thing I can never understand is why people only do 8gb of ram in big builds like this [and other higher-end ones].
8GB because my client only use this for school and LoL. He said more than that would be a waste.
Fair enough :)
cable management is great as you can see on the last picture. Dust cover is not too bad. I havent get any complain from my client.
oh I dont know, I didnt pay attention to it much.
it does. I tried it with another 760 I had. I called up Gigabyte and they help me sort it out.
Could you elaborate?
what would you like to know?
Well I own this mobo as well and its specs say it doesn't support SLI only Crossfire and even then the secondary PCIE slot is only 4X.
So my question was.... how can it?
And if it can..... isn't it going to run the secondary GPU slower anyway?
(please excuse punctuation... my keyboard won't type commas for some reason)
to what? lol
