Hi guys, like the title states, this my very first build that I finished during last Christmas. I was too lazy to post it here until now :P
Hardware wise since I'm a newbie I probably could've done a better job with cable management, but since the CPU/GPU temperatures are pretty stable even under load I chose not to mess around anymore.
Software wise I installed Windows 7 as I had a disk lying around in my house. Games I've played so far are Tomb Raider (2013), Skyrim, Crysis 3, Batman Arkham Origins, Assassins's Creed IV, and Sonic Generations. I could play all of the games on max settings on the stock GPU clock speed with the exception of Crysis 3 and ACIV.
My 3DMark Fire Strike score ranges from 72xx~74xx on standard mode. I haven't benchmarked it on extreme yet.
Overall I'm extremely satisfied with this build. If anyone could give me tips on anything pertaining to my build I would greatly appreciate it.
P.S. I also purchased this keyboard http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009K7QB8O/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for $25 and I have yet to experience any of the problems that some of the negative reviews pointed out. I highly recommend it as I love the numerous hotkeys it has. As for a mouse I'm using a generic $5 mouse.
P.P.S. I got all of my parts on Black Friday and Cyber Monday if anyone is wondering how I purchased some of my parts at a low price (especially the monitor).
P.P.P.S If you're planning to use the motherboard in my build and have 3 or more things that need a SATA cable (like I did for my disk drive, SSD and HDD), just note that the package comes with only two SATA 3 cables.
