Description

I built this as my first PC for both Gaming and work (3D modeling).

I fought with my self the whole way on parts, what worked what didn't why is that so expensive and so on. but i'm happy with it! Takes everything I throw at it, BF4 at ultra looks silky smooth with fps on the 100+ side.

Which brings me to the problem side of things. This case is great! Love the cable management, switched out the LEDs in the front for red ones, only problem? Unless you like drilling holes into your case, you have to mount the h80i on the side panel, because the only other location is the back of the case. H80i doesnt fit! Gotta make some holes haha! After that mounting it was easy, got less cooling out of it in this way, im sure its because of its location/upsidedown/ dang. But it still works!

Other than that not much else to say, besides make sure when you remove the PCIE brackets at the back, that its the ONLY location that part will go haha or else you end up with a whole bunch of holes! In blender rendering with my i7 4770k is only about 20secs slower than rendering with my gtx660 but it can handle far larger scenes because of it using 8gb of ram as opposed to the gtx 660's 2gb. Will upgrade eventually to a 780 4gb at some point but for now all is good. Rate comment flame me for paying way to much, hints tips and suggestions? go for it!

Pretty solid. I would've gotten 700 series card for sure. I am not sure what I am seeing exactly in the pictures, but something is clearly not right with your video card. Don't know if it's a trick of light or lens, but it should certainly not be curved, crooked, or angled in any way.

GPU is fine. Its the camera, was using slightly macro lens. PCpartpicker used wrong price for the paste, i corrected it. Love my h80i got it for $60 Got a PNY ssd from walmart, it died and they sent me that one, I had originally only paid 60 haha. I dont really like my psu either but it seems fine, and handles my OC well on both my CPU and GPU, I always monitor the voltages coming out of it, to make sure they are within specs. Would had prefered a Corsair but oh well. Like I said I am sure there was money to be shifted around to get me a better GPU, but Im happy with it. Originally Purchased an i5 to save on budget, but then upgraded 2 weeks ago because it was on sale at microcenter. My friend has a GTX 760, and there is not much difference in the way/framerates we play BF4, so I wasn't Thralled to pay 60$ for 3-6 fps difference, I think the 660 is great price/per performance card on the Nvidia side. And I can find used ones on Ebay, to SLI with and get the ratings of a $1000card on 3dmark!

You guys also have to remember I had to buy all my peripherals too >_< I wanted G-sync so thats 270 out the window, and I needed a KB/m and Since I type and use shortcuts ALOT that MK550 was perfect for me!! And yes 20$ for
two fans that look awesome IMHO. Also @rosewill N600PCE wifi card that thing is awesome! Only limited by my router, which right now is 56mbps over wifi... not bad for $21!
