This is just assembled. The case is a Rosewill and so is the power supply. I drew a red line on the cables that are too short. The ATX12 cable has to run across the mobo and I have ordered an extension cord.
You could call it the Upside Down PC.
Maybe he's just Australian.
I tried to flip the PSU and it made no difference. Rosewill needs to add 8" more to the cables. I considered other locations but the layout just doesn't seem to work. I have read others had the same problem and it looks like Rosewill would fix this.
LOL I just realized I had it flipped in the picture. It was laying on the table. I suppose it could be the upside down computer!
That PSU will burn your system down because it sucks.
I've had a Rosewill PSU in an old system of mine for 4 years with zero issues. I wouldn't say they're great, but they definitely don't suck.
Not really burn down, but a short life. There are many who have been victims for this PSU only working for a few months - years.
Yep I have read they have a short life. I have always worked with computers, changing hard drives, adding memory, and keeping everything. This was an experience for me and now I want to build more.
A Rosewill? I don't think that will be burning up any computer any time soon.
No overclock on the 6300?
Not yet. We will work on that this weekend maybe. The memory will be in today. He had 8 GB now he will have 16 and the extension cord will be in Friday. Like I said this is a new experience for us. Building a computer from scratch. Learned I want a modular power supply next time. I had a bunch of Amazon gift cards so most of the items were purchased at Amazon unless they were a lot cheaper elsewhere. Total I owe newegg will be $200.
not yet. I will mess with it later. My son is having a cow to play games.
Do your toilets flush backwards too?
Interesting question..as I teach plumbing and construction technology. But from what I have seen these low flush toilets just don't flush backwards or otherwise.
