Description

I have been researching parts for a new computer for a while now and finally decided this. I originally was going to get the AMD FX-8350 Black Edition but at the last second I decided to go with the i5 6600k. It may have costed me more as it was $100 more and I needed to get a motherboard that was twice the price of the one that would have gone with the FX but I think it was worth it. I was going to go with a r7 370 but it went out of stock when I was going to order it so I went with the 750 Ti instead. The 750ti is soon to be replaced in a week by the rx480 most likely or a 960/r7 370. Overall I am very happy with the build. I am able to run GTA V on near maximum settings and still get ~60 FPS.

I originally ordered different ram and a WD Blue but the ram was defective so I had to buy some PNY Anarchy from Best Buy and after 1 Day the WD Blue failed so I ended up buying a WD Black to replace it.

I still need to work on cable management but hey give me a break I finally got it up and running haha.

EDIT: I returned the 750Ti and now have a GTX 960 FTW. PIctures will be added soon...

Why buying a 750ti now if you are getting a rx 480 in a week?

Benchmarks show the rx480 is better than the gtx 1060... they were leaked 2 days ago

DO you believe those? I don't. Don't believe "leaked" benchmarks and things the company's say.

Those are most likely synthetic, and like @gamingnoah said, don't believe leaked info.

GTX 1060 will perform as good as the 980, the RX 480 perfoms as good as the 970.

I rest my case.

The 1060 beat the RX 480 through leaks though, like you stated up there: "don't believe leaked info."

Hypocrisy.. xD

I never said I believed the leaks, Nvidia themselves states it will perform like a 980.

So I was just wondering. Where does the front fan exhaust to? Also is the case good?

Sorry for late response rarely on here lately. The case came with 2 fans the front one carries air to the rear one to be blown out. No i do not recommend this case its flimsy as hell and even arrived with a giant dent that i had to bang out. The main reason I got it was to cut costs and was one of the cheapest cases i could find with a usb 3.0 port on the front and with 2 fans. Also not to mention it looks like a boring office pc case, the other thing I have come to realize lately is I find MicroATX too small for me so I am ordering a Corsair ATX case soon as in the coming months i plan to water cool and get a 1070/1060.

You wasted your money on the 750ti... you could've gotten a gtx 950 or found a gtx 960 for a little more

I plan on getting a 1070/60 by the end of this year but the 960 is good enough for now. But to be honest I haven't really noticed a difference between the 960 and 750ti in performance but its still a way better quality card than the 750ti with a backplate and all. Honestly the 750ti is probably one of the best if not the best budget card out there though.
