This is my first build ever, so my wiring is an absolute mess. Tried to get the best bang for my buck in a small form factor case.
Edit: Fixed my wiring a little bit!
Go Go Gadget Zip Ties!!
Inspector Gadget would be of little help... lol
You part choice is very solid. You could think about getting an short cable kit to rewire it later. For now just have fun with that GTX 770... and don't run it too hot... MSI cards are a bit more susceptible to overheating.
Thanks! I will definitely think about re-wiring later. The 770 is currently limited at 80C, that should be fine right?
It's limited at 80*C, which is fine, just keep in mind that performance throttles at that temp. Personally I'm grabbing an NZXT G-10 as the overclocked profile I use (only when gaming) hits that wall in BF4 and AC4.
But dat wiring.....
Don't get me wrong, like the parts but....... +1 maybe~
Haha I know, it's my very first build ever and I chose to do a mini-ITX. Definitely didn't have much of an idea of what I was doing...
though it must be really fun having an mini-ITX tower, bringing it over to lan parties is a breeze compare to my full tower ^
Where did you get the GTX 770 at that price?????
dat craigslist? or ebay? maybe it was just an awesome sale?
That's a great price for the 770 though
I got the same 770 for 336 :(
Got you beat. Got mine for $378CAD, although that was just after release.
Awhile ago newegg had a promotion and after using a promo card you could pick one up for that price I'm guessing that's where he hit this one up.
Ouch, that sucks
It was a black friday deal, sold out within a few hours of going live. I guess I was lucky :)
Nice cable management. Today is opposite's day :)
Fixed my wiring a bit, as per your guys' recommendation!
I don't see any major flaws, this is pretty good! The biggest flaw was your cable management, but there's no need to go mad over it, because the case doesn't have a window (To my knowledge). I'd suggest going back and making it a bit more neat, but it isn't really a major issue.
Cable management isn't just about aesthetics, and frankly I think it's even more important in m-ITX builds, as there is less space for airflow. The cleaner it is, the better the airflow, the cooler your temps.
