Built this for a customer. These pictures were taken before the Mobo was changed to an Asrock Extreme6 to accommodate the 4 x 2.5" drive Hot-Swap bays, top HDD dock and the two drives in use. Totaling to 10 sata ports needed.
Great build, but that GPU sag... might wanna find a way to fix that.
thats normal. Never known anyone to have issues. Weird? yes. A problem? no.
I'm yet to find a clean way of preventing sag on r9 270 and above :/
wireframe support is a must.
I completely agree, they should begin to make gpu-bras
A few things to try:
1/4" dowel (painted)
High tensile fishing line
You could lay down your case horizontally, if the sagging is caused by the weight of your card that is (If your case supports horizontal setting).
Thanks guys, i appreciate the upvotes, advice and constructive criticisms. Keep an eye out for more builds on the regular
Lol nice build, but you have the Chaser A71 listed... when you have the Chaser Mk-I as your case :P
Man...is that GPU sagging or am I crazy...
Maybe you should get a after market cpu cooler.
What did u think of the motherboard?
$700 charge for building it?
The GPU is sagging? Is this a common problem?
Almost.. as bad as an alienware
