Always wanted something I could play games on without getting about 4fps. The fruits of my labour.
thats a sweet rear fan!
i need the name of that rear fan!
Looks good congrats on your first build!
There are a few parts you could've saved on but I'm not going to get onto you for that
Looks quite nice. Any more pictures of this?
Pretty balanced build. However, if you plan on SLIing with another 760, you might want to get a PSU with more wattage. Also consider aftermarket CPU cooling if you plan on overclocking.
If I could change one thing, I would drop the SSD and get a 770. But the 760 is a great price/performance hotspot and SSDs are just plain awesome, so I don't blame you at all.
Better than my first build for sure. But you could have done better price-wise for what you got. RAM (could have got 16gb for 100), SSD (could have got a faster one for cheaper [Samsung 840 128gb]), and PSU could have had more wattage for further upgrades in the future.
There's a few things that worked out cheaper than the prices I was quoted on here. e.g. got the windowed case off eBay. I'll get a proper list of parts up soon.
The rear fan is an Enermax T.B.Vegas Duo Fan.
Having said that I just went through all the invoices and it turns out that it was a little bit more than I thought! HA! Oh well. Totally worth it.
Hi, I am currently doing a similar build to this but budget is around £650 ... I am using a much smaller case (Fractal design Core 1000) and using 1TB caviar Blue no SSD. The Mobo I am going to buy is Msi Z87M-G43 and same power supply CX500M . Just wanted to know how your system is running with 500w , is it stable? oh and how's gaming performance with this rig? can you get 60fps on games like BF4 at 1080p?
