Finally I can answer the ultimate question, "But can it run Crysis?" YES!!!
I think the real question with a build like that is can it run minesweeper.
It had better run Crysis...
I love that case. You packed a ton of amazing nonsense into that. My one critique may be that you used a bit too much thermal paste, but if it's non conductive, it shouldn't be an issue. Wonderful build.
Looking back at the photos, I agree, it's a bit too much but not enough to cause issues. It's non-conductive and I was happy with the temperatures. Thanks for your comment!
If it ain't broken, don't fix it!
All that in that case! Very powerful for the space. Might I ask what you will be using this for?
Games @ 2560x1440, plus Autodesk Inventor and CATIA from time to time to design my other projects.
Very nice. 1440p can only be appreciated in person. It really is bad ***!
I wish i could get that monitor for free.
that is wow +1
Holy bejeebus that's a tight squeeze. Love it! +1
Is the gene worth the extra money, I'm looking at one for my build
That is bad ***
I'm close to ordering a similar build to you!
This is what I have so far; http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Hkislauskis/saved/2Npq
-How do you like your monitor?
1440p(60hz) vs. 1080p(144hz) has been quite the debate for me. I'm using the rig for FPS gaming and the like, so thats why I picked the Asus VG278HE.
-How do you like your mobo? I have picked the same.
-Is there anything you'd do different in retrospect?
Thank you :) BTW, WELL DONE! Your rig looks beautiful.
What are your temps during gaming?
It's amazing how easy the mac wired keyboard is to type with is it not?
Great build! I like the place where you put the stickers! I should give it a try as well :)
+1 for team Fortress!!!
