Description

It has been awhile since I made a PC for myself. I Build a lot of Computers for other people and the two pc's that I had for myself had both migrated to the kids and I was on my back up (MSI GS63vr Stealth Pro laptop i7-7700 /RTX1060) running dual 32inch 1080p 60 HZ TV's. It was time to upgrade.

My goal was to have a White Build (always wanted one like this). and to make sure I could go without major upgrades (cpu, gpu and mobo) for at least 5 years. It has turned out amazing! Everything I put in it will definitely run my two 1080p 144hz monitors for many years! I plan on mostly gaming, streaming every now and then and also some light editing. I included some of the stuff that I already had Like the peripherals.

With the color I was able to incorporate my favorite toy growing up the GI Joe named Storm Shadow. My girlfriend also found some digital camo vinyl to and some more character to the already awesome case.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great CPU- I did not use the included cooler for the cpu and I plan on overclocking it in the future.

CPU Cooler

Amazing looking cooler and it goes perfect with my ascetics of my build.

Motherboard

So far so good- 1 week in.

Storage

I am using this as my back up drive- Great price for the amount of storage.

Storage

I am using this as my boot drive and gaming software.

Video Card

First time using amd for my gpu. So far I am impressed. I do not plan to over clock it at all. It runs quit and cool enough for me.

Case

Awesome case to build in. I love the way it looks with my build.

Power Supply

Not modular but that is not needed with most cases having a power supply shroud.

Great job on the white theme! I also love the camo vinyl, really brings it all together to look even better. +1

Thanks man. I saw all these new builds with Funkopop thingies and I was like- Lets do something more adult.... LOL- I understand the irony in that statement.

That G.I. Joe totally justifies the pattern that's already cool-looking on its own. For the first time recently I ordered some toys to accessorize PCs — something I never thought I'd do. But it can be the cherry on top of a well-coordinated PC like yours.

It definitely makes for a cool build. Remember you can also get Fire Fly that would work with blue digital camo. From the comic books in the 90's he was a ninja too. Ninja's being my favorite.

Thanks man. I have been on a nostalgia kick with GI Joe... but the worst part about it is the new movies.

This set up is the best I have ever had. Because everyone said this card runs hot I went with as many fans as possible, cpu cooler and a mesh front panel to make sure it had adequate cooling. I have had great temps and the noise level is unnoticeable to me.

I would definitely go for these components again.
