Mom's boyfriend told me he wanted me to build him a computer, original budget was around $1,000. Then this happened. The only real problem I had was when I went to install the drivers it wouldnt let me install the chipset driver to the m.2 at first, but used the Designare disc that came with the motherboard and everything was all set.

Part Reviews

Its a beast what more can be said, killer price as well.

CPU Cooler

Beautiful cooler, will keep the 1920x cool.

Looks aren't my personal favorite but i didn't choose the parts. The tr4 socket is huge. The features this motherboard has is crazy. Very little lighting if you don't like RGB

Good looking ram, I have the Non RGB in my personal rig, these look amazing and the colors are super vibrant.

Didn't realize at first how small m.2 drives were, this thing is really fast as well.

Basic storage drive, Lasts long and isnt loud

Video Card

Nice looking card, i like the carbon fiber look gives a nice look. If only the case this was in had a window.

This case is MASSIVE and the only thing i didn't like very much in the build. For the price you'd think the doors would work. Nope, the backside door never wants to shut. It was like that before i even built the computer. Cable management wasn't the easiest either, by no means am I a cable management god but i like it clean.

Power Supply

Small but powerful power supply, 80+ gold, Gets the job done

Mom's boyfriend didn't want a window at first, once he saw how it looked inside he kinda wants the window lol

Blow someone else's budget -- that's one way to get it done!

I presume he's happy with the outcome or you would have lengthened the story...

hahah, oh yeah he was quite happy with how it came out.

This Build should have been like 2600$ but prices are so nuts this is the new Normal... I love this build tho, the cosmos II is fire

Yeah the prices are crazy high, the case is really the only thing I didn't like too much about this build.

Yeah, so glad I built mine back in January 2017 when GPU prices were sane, the case is good but flashy and bulky on the inside, but the bent glass is amazing

Can someone please justify $$$350 for a CASE!!!????

uhWoah submitter 3 Builds 1 point 6 months ago

I couldn't justify it for this one, I wouldn't spend over 150 on this case, build quality definitely isnt there for the price (imo) the case in this build isn't the one with the tempered glass

Gotcha. Great build though.
