Description

My wife and I are proud to present my gaming/editing build. I finished My build and ran into a lot of trouble with the video cards (as in they weren't working). But after many YouTubes and forums later my baby is chugging along. It takes a whole (grueling ) 5 seconds to power on to lock screen and the video quality is insane(good). Please if u have any questions feel free to ask. Any pictures you need I will be sure to acomidate. I don't mind at all.

Case: I went with this case because there is SO MUCH SPACE!!! It looks amazing and fits everything i want and ever will want to add.

Motherboard: Was pretty easy decision. I wanted something with great quality and was relatively new. (and it just happened to fit my red theme. :)

Video card(s): This was something i knew absolutely nothing about and a coworker said it works great he loves it. My reply was " Ill take two"

Power supply: I personally like the corsair simplicity and kinda just winged it

Optical Drive: Simple easy and an insane amount of people use this so i decided it was for me

Operating System: I'm used to windows 8.1 so i stuck to what i am familiar with

Cooling System: Had to go water cooled everyone i talk to regrets not doing it. In this case i definitely could use a bigger radiator but i could only afford so much. Definitely looks awesome.

Accessories: NZXT Aperture M Card Reader is cool haven't really found a good reason for it yet but when I do... i don't know it will be there for me to use. The ssd tray is just a cool thing to have. it worked out great and helped with cable management because the same power cable runs to my optical drive.

Gear: I am a huge fan of the razer brand of gaming gear. Other then the headset and the mouse pad(not big enough) naga i just had to replace from the 2013 model(nerd rage) now i have the 2014 wireless naga. In time I will be upgrading to rgb lighting for my keyboard and I will (hopefully) find a rgb tartarus or orbweaver.

Hello my black and red brotha~ I recently built a black and blue build, known as STRIKER, for the game Star Citizen. I was considering the LGA1150 series mobos with DDR3 as there wasn't that much of an improvement compared with the expensive X99 + 2011-v3 + DDR4 upgrade. Also, I decided to go with air cooling rather than liquid cooling. I am very curious to see how our rigs differ in performance for gaming. Do you play the game Star Citizen by any chance? What are your ambient temperatures? Idle temperatures? Gaming temperatures? +1 for Razer peripherals!!

I connected them to my motherboard and only have them run when my gpu reaches 15% they are loud if I turn them all the way on. Next build will only have noctua fans to remove that problem

Thanx, in the meantime i solve the problem by unintall Asus Ai suite 3, it was preventing PWM option to function properly.
