Description

Video Editing / Gamer I do not suggest this case, No air flow/No room for wirer management. I was able to put push pull fans on both radiators (It was a tight not for the faint of heart). I put lots of RGB fans seven all together, they are not on the parts list better add about $250.00 for crap LOL and two LED strips more of a headache them it was worth but dam it does look good. my old rig had a Radon rx580 OC version loved it but I was hearing how great GeForce cards where so I though to give one a try (bad Idea for me anyway) not going to happen again not worth the money. You got to like the Team T-Force Xcalibur RGB ddr4-4000 32GB you can not slow that down it just works. I have put in two more USB 3.0 in the front just because the case had room and I had it lying around so why not. I'm not happy with the MOBO it just runs hot and looking on line the revues agree never going with MSI again you live and learn. Give it a look and let me Know what you think of my new rig.

Just a great all around CPU next Time 9 3900X just saying.

Motherboard

Don't waste your money on this one

Can't go wrong saves so much room and work well. I have Two

Video Card

Works but not worth the money you get more bang for your buck with AMD Radeon

Case

Looks good but hard to build, no air flow

RX580~1060. Going from this to plain 1070 was completely money waste, esp watercooled. At least 1070 Ti could have been tons better.

I agree with that the Ti would of been a lot better but I got the 1070 Hybrid for $200 so I had to try.

yeah the mobo vrm's are on of the worst, I would of went the tomahawk max or asus tuf x570, and for the graphics card I would of kept the rx 580 until it's completely outdated (less than 40fps in most games) and then saved up for a 2070 super or wait for next generation but other than that nice build, looks cool!

I did not do my research first I will never do that aging. I loved my rx580 but a friend needed a card and got a great deal on the 1070 next time I'm thinking SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 5700 XT SPECIAL EDITION it's about $100.00 cheaper then the 2070 super and the Radeons work so well with Ryzen.

This just seems like such a bad buy, I mean spending $160 on the CPU and $460 on ram? Why do you need such high speed ram?

I got the ram on sale only spent $250.00 and it will work with my next planed upgrade Ryzen 9 3900x I do a lot of video editing and it is nice when the Computer does not slow down when working with high def.

You always have to be ready for the next upgrade and snap up on the deals when you can. I'm set on ram for the next five years. I rebuild my main rig about every 6 mouths and use it as a selling point for new customers so in the long run it's money well spent. Thank you for your comments and I see what you are saying I could of saved a lot by going with les.

Well, you're paying the RGB tax with this one. Nice build though, although you have a really interesting assortment of parts in this build.

Thank you and yes I paid a heavy RGB Tax and time for all that BS makes wire management a night mire had to add 4 hours to my build so I could put it in a desk where you can't even see it.

It's a great hobby and not as hard as it looks I started building a year ago (just feed up not able to up grad store bought stuff) and have done about 20 so far for friends and family. I have upgraded and rebuilt my Rig 4 times so far after you start you just want to make it better. Ones you star it's hard to stop just saying.
