Description

Well to start it works great! It's very fast and exactly what i wanted. The bad would be i can't seem to get audio out of my tv. I have a hdmi cable hooked from the graphics card to the tv and no audio. I can plug my headphones into the case and that works. Probably a user error lol i'm definitely new to the pc world. Any advice to try would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, looks cool. For HDMI audio you have to select that audio output device, in your case something like AMD High Definition Audio, or if you don't see the device then you may have to install the driver for it.

Thanks! I downloaded the realtek driver from asrocks website but still nothing. I've been going through the audio setting and trying all the options but no luck. I have hooked up some speakers to get me by till I figure it out lol.

Good looking build man, I have the same Rosewill Cullinan for my recently built pc as well. Only difference is I have the RGB version so I can cycle between colors and what not. As far as your audio issue, you should try installing all the necessary audio drivers from your motherboard's support page if you haven't already.

Thanks man, I'd definitely like to have the rgb version now that its put together lol. The more i mess with it the more i want to customize it lol. I've downloaded the drivers from asrocks website but no change, I've been messing with all the audio options but no luck.

Awesome build, though personally I would've gone for a Ryzen 5 and a bit cheaper Mobo and spend the extra money on a better GPU

Thanks! I was going to get a ryzen 5 3600 to start with and a b450 tomahawk with that red devil but I kept upgrading lol. I'm new to the pc world so I'm still learning where its better to spend the money lol.

Not a big problem. The 5700XT is still a great card! It's just what I would've personally done different.

Awesome build Secret! Jgierer you mentioned going with the ryzen 5 over the 7 3700, any specific reason why? Also what gpu would you have invested in with the savings from the cpu/mobo? Thanks!

Most games with that CPU/GPU combo will be very GPU limited, so unless you're streaming or doing other CPU-heavy work, it would be "wasted" CPU performance. Personally I just finished a similarly priced build with a 3600 and a 2070 Super, which is a bit more balanced but that being said I don't think there's a huge difference between the 5700XT and 2070 Super. The most significant difference is obviously Ray Tracing which I'm personally a fan of, but if that's not important to you then you might go with 3600+5700XT and just save a bit of money.

The thing is, that with these mid-range GPUs the Ryzen 7 will give you close to no performance benefit in games over the Ryzen 5.
