Description

My first build in over 7 years! I don't play games much anymore so I didn't go all out on it, instead opting for a moderate build that will undoubtedly be able to handle the upcoming games on my watchlist at 1440p 60fps with high-ultra settings.

All the prices are accurate and were found in about 2 weeks of lurking /r/buildapcsales (GPU and case are MSRP because nothing good was coming up and it was beginning to no longer be worth the wait.)

Yes I had to take the photos outside, there is no light whatsoever in my room.

(Set finish to transparent/ size I used was large)

Looks great. Nowdays its all about that RGB and flashy parts, but it's cool to see a nice, "classic" build with good quality parts, here and there.

I'm all for a subtle little black box that I can place inconspicuously under my desk. I've always found RBG culture and people keeping their massive builds on top of their desks to look really tacky, which is convenient because it saves me an absurd amount of money lol.

A bit childish too. Not my style either. Still... My Gpu has RGB and also does my cpu cooler.

Nice build and good pictures of the result ! Can you hear the MSI GPU when idle or gaming ?

Sorry for ultra late reply, I don't use this site often lol.

It's silent when completely idle, light ambient hum under load, and noticeable under heavy load. Far, far less loud than my ps4 was when I owned one, and a lower pitch hum that is easily drowned out or ignored.
