Description

This is a refresh of a build I made back in 2009 (my first love). Daddy's original war machine. Originally I wanted to keep the basics and just modernize, but eventually I just started a new build at the link below and sold this one to a friend in need of some reliability. Was a cool teaching opportunity and a chance to reflect on what I did wrong.

I remember first turning this thing on and just praying it would power up. Now, I'm a bit more discerning in the quality of parts and full functionality capabilities, but she was a stable mistress.

Note: I originally purchased a GTX 950, but later replaced it with a 970 I had left over from my new build, but didn't take new pics.

Both the RAM back in 2009 and didn't update it. since its been reliable and it really don't need more. Forgot to mark that on the price list.

390: Budget mostly. I didn't pay for the 970 and was able to return the 950 at a net cost of 24 dollars.

If I was going for the full refresh, I probably would have gone with the 390. Thanks for the feedback!
