Description

Mainly a gaming build. Started out as an htpc in a Silverstone GD05, now in a NZXT H440 mid tower. Currently using the Corsair h55 in the top middle fan slot and my CPU temps stay below 65c when playing games. The EVGA gtx 970 gets up to around 75-80c when gaming but drops about 5c when I remove the front cover so the fans can pull in more air. I have also removed the stock fan splitter and added a swiftech 8 way PWM splitter instead which fits perfectly in the top middle cable hole. I also installed a couple white cold cathodes and stuck the on/off switch in a perfectly sized whole in the bottom front of the case. Its a never ending build with future upgrade plans being a new PSU that is fully modular so I can custom sleeve it and a custom water loop.

Nice build, although that PSU is pretty expensive though.

At least it isn't really cheap

It wasn't really that expensive, its a discontinued model so I think that's why the price is showing higher then it was when it was generally available. I think I paid ~80 for it.
