Description

Built it to handle gaming, but I also do virtualization projects on it as well. I work in IT and use this PC to practice administrative tasks in a virtual environment. Not included in the parts list are the 3 additional fans I purchased to have a fan in every spot available. Total fans are 6: 3 x 220 (2 came with case, 1 Thermaltake additionally purchased with blue LED only), 2 X 140 purple Corsair, 1 X 120 purple Corsair. Currently piecing together a CPU + GPU water cooling loop. This thing heats my room like a warm blanket haha. Planning to watercool, primarily to keep from sweating to death while gaming and hopefully cut down on fan noise, but also if/when I decide to start toying with overclocking.

A custom water cooling loop will not reduce the amount of heat produced. Its just a more efficient way of pulling heat off your components. Room temp won't change

Does water cooling loops reduce ambient room temp?

Unless you have a way of actually moving the hot air out of the room, the same amount of heat is generated.

Cool system though, and if you are planning on water cooling I say go for it. It's a great experience! +1

Thank you for the video! I've watched videos from him before and he's great. I did kind of assume the temp would go down if the components were generally being kept cooler, but that totally makes sense. Typical n00b mistake :)

No offense but seeing a lot of these first build titles. Don't mind naming it do you? If not I have nothing against you +1

Not real sure what else to call it... since it is my first PC build, lol. How about Veronica? :)

Yeah the camera definitely makes it look more purple than it really is. Purple is my favorite color though. I wish it really looked like it does in the pictures!
