Description

I always said one day I would build my own PC.... turns out it isn't that difficult. I wanted to build something that was budget conscious and could game 1080p at high or ultra settings. I also watch a ton of movies so the extra 1.5tb HDD works just fine. Everything in this build is geared towards the most bang for your buck.

I like the r9 380 as it plays most things fine at 1080p. It ran a bit warm at first until I started tinkering with the fan speeds in MSI afterburner. In a few years I may upgrade this. I have looked into crossfiring but it seems that you are better off just upgrading to a whole new GPU.

The CPU, and the whole build, runs extremely quiet. This is a huge difference from the pre-built, best buy rig I was using. I would have liked to have spent more here as well but for gaming I thought the 6500 offered everything I needed. I think maybe spending the $20 extra for the 6600 would have been worth it.

I can't say enough about how awesome this case it. Moving cables around was easy and there is plenty of space to hide it behind the mobo. There are tons of slots for more storage which I will be filling up in the future. 1.5tb of storage just isn't enough for all the movies, tv shows, etc.

Let me know what you guys think.

I wonder how many PCs on here have the same name as yours.
