I use my PC basically for everything. My hobby is gaming mostly Racing and flight simulators. When I first finished building this, My Zotac 970's would not sli for some reason. That was the only problem with this pc. I ended up sending one back on a RMA trip. Got it back from Newegg Very fast! I will always use them as a vendor Prices don't bother me. It's the ease of buying things and fast shipping from them. I did not have a problem putting everything together. It was so easy and booted up the very first time. I used to have an AMD Fx-6300 and a gtx 750 2gb non-ti and I'm blown away and the performance of this build. I didn't even fine tune anything just gave that little Intel chip a 4.4Ghz boost and a little overclock on the gpu's and I hit a FireStrike Score of (16,303). With the all-in-one Liquid cooler she stays nice and cool never hit any thing above 50°c on the CPU I can max out any game without any stutters. I am having a very hard time waiting for my Oculus Rift Cv1 to ship. The Racing and flight experience is going to be wicked!

Part Reviews

Quick does what it's supposed to do. Well worth the money! Take's everything I throw at it like a champ. Eats amd's for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm mad at myself for waiting this long to get a proper chip. Sorry AMD Their GPUs are great but in the CPU department They suck.. Step it up so we can progress!!

CPU Cooler

Keeps Cpu Cool as ICE and is Very quite

Thermal Compound

Works nice brought temps down a little although could have just been an anomaly..

I love the red color of it and it has everything and then some that I need. I Would definitely get another MSI in the future.

It's Ram? I will add more in the future just because.

Paid a little too much for it at the time. But I'm happy. It's quick and boots up my system very quick.

Slow old harddrives I need to upgrade these. They have been faithful though..

Video Card

Quiet and fast plays everything for me 60fps 1080p. But that's because I went a little crazy and picked up 2 of these monsters! 10/10 would buy again

I love it! It looks clean and it's not too big and it has a nice window to check out all the parts in it! Very good cable management and lots of room. Keeps everything nice and cool. I switched out the red fans for 4 blue led fans and wow it just looks amazing!

Power Supply

More than enough power for what I have and I love the modular cables.

Optical Drive

Who uses these any more? I think maybe once to try and get my video card drivers installed that's it?

Operating System

Pretty good O/S only had a few hiccups but that is expected. I like the layout of it. Very easy to find everything. Still could have more tweaks to it though to make it perfect.

Case Fan

Very quite and keeps air flowing nicely! Would recommend to anyone.

Got it for christmas and it works great for how cheap it was. I had a 130$ gaming mouse once and it broke in 2 months I will never pay that much for a mouse again. This one is wireless and play games without any lag

The sound is good. I'm not big on audio as long as it works I'm happy.

Thanks I'll have some better pictures soon. Just hard to pull away from this machine. It just eats up games for breakfast. The best part? It can be faster in the future with upgrades

Btw you really over spend on the 750 GB HDD you could have gotten a terabyte for 50 bucks

That makes sense

Instead of buying 2 970s you should have purchased a 980ti (unless you already had a 970 beforehand)... More VRAM, less power consumption and no sli - related issue... Anyways very nice build! :)

Had one 970, so I got another one and had to rma it to get it to sli with the new one.Other than that it runs like a dream! Thank you!

What monitor are you using? would hate to waste extra fps on a crappy monitor! if you do have a crappy monitor hopefully u will be saving for a better one! +1 for a great build :-)

It's a crappy 1080p TV but idc because I'm getting the Oculus rift. Eventually I'll get a G-sync when they have one bigger than 38 inches at less then I paid for my computer. haha

Hey, I know this has been up here for a while but I noticed you have the same cards as me. I am currently having a similar problem as I just got a second card but for some reason they aren't connecting through SLI properly. Everything on my computer is recognizing the cards but they just aren't working together evn though I've tried 2 different bridges. How did you know that it was your card that was the problem? I would think since my pc at least recognizes it, it shouldn't be the problem. Thanks for you help!

It's these Zotac 970's I had to rma it. I already had one I bought a month before I got one from newegg. When I exchanged to older one so it will match the new one it worked fine. I read up on it and it seems zotac cards are the only one having this problem. What it means in a nut shell is you if you want to sli without a problem you have to order the gpu's at the same time from the same vendor. Something with the design of it and the software, which also means you cannot sli and evga or msi etc. with this zotac card. Sucks I know..
