Description

I had been wanting a fast PC for a while, and am very satisfied with this as a first build! It had gone through a lot of changes in components, notably the GPU at the end as it was the only one locally available, but is able to run things great! I still need to purchase two more fans, as I'm only running the two which came with the case at the moment, but I'll deal with that soon! In the future I may change the CPU cooler to a closed loop water cooler, but the Freezer 7 is fine for the time being. The case did come with a slight crack at the rear foot, but its not something superglue can't fix... :)

So, why did you get the 16gb? And at 1333? Not that it would be noticeably slower than 1600, just curious.

1333 mhz was just because it was what my local shop had available then, so I didn't have much choice x3 And 16gb... Not sure really. Mainly for legroom when I'm doing more memory intensive tasks, and it had a reasonably good deal on so I thought, why not really...

I like the build, it looks great. I am curious how difficult it was to build with the BitFenix? I am looking into doing my first build with one, and want to know what I am getting myself into. +1

Well, it wasn't easy, but it wasn't impossible! The hardest part was bundling the longer cables into the space above the power supply, and then putting on the side panel behind it, but once its done it isn't a problem, and it still looks pretty acceptable :D I love the case, so would recommend, I was in the same position as you after all:) And thanks!

I was looking for builds that had the Video Card I had planned on using, the Gigabyte GTX 970. Your build looks really clean. Hope my Mini-ITX build looks the same way! :)

I'd imagine OP either got it for a good price or purchased it so it would not cap out and make a lot of noise.

maybe OC or SLI later on?

yeah that was the idea really. I mean 750 is pretty overkill atm, but it saves more purchases later on! :)
