Description

This is my Gaming rig/ media center. This case does an incredible job of cooling. Since these pics I have upgraded to 32gb of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 memory. Any questions about this rig please ask.

Judging by the amount of paper you dropped to build this, I'm assuming you've got a heck of a lot of paper to weigh down :P

+1

Is that where the name came from? (I'm guessing not)

Truly fitting lol.

Once they make this case in a snow edition, i am upgrading. Excellent build btw. Would love to see more inside pics.

I can break it down and get some more pics of it. I was going to use the h440 but decided to go with a smaller form matx case. It really does cool well. I need to cable manage a bit more and rearrange the ssds to accommodate for the psu cable to go where the hdd cage sets now. If there are any suggestions please comment below

I would put some tile or a board or something down instead of putting your PC directly on carpet especially if you have your PSU intake facing down. I got some tile from the hardware store and it does really well.

How quiet is this case? Any vibration from the card?

I have a question, In terms of this case, was it easy to manage the cable? I mean, It's a really big case for MATX,

Really easy to work with. Cable management could be better. But its can be be done. I put some updated pics up

wow, you're really nice, not many people even reply! By the way, what do you think is better? Horizontal vs Vertical mobo placement? Both for looks and cable management?

I like horizontal. Easier with graphics card sag also

True, 980 ti = heavy, I wouldn't want to see my graphics card tilting, it would make it look like it's going to fall and break the mobo with it (Happened with my friend) Also very fast reply.

The 980ti does sage much especially with the back plate. I also tried it vertical and i liked it also. Looks very clean. I just have my pc on the floor so it looks better from the top

Holy Crap fans!!! Nice build man!!! I have the same case and it was a blast 2 build in.Only have 4 fans though, What are your temps like? my CPU wont go over 45' and my GPU even though there is a 200mm fan below it, Gets into the 70's still trying to figure that one out. LOL

Nice, yeah I'm thinking about replacing both the 2oomm's for 4 more noctua's that why I can hook a go-pro up on top and hover around my living room ;)

It does have a metal side case from a older atx case that is charcoal grey beneath it. I am install some under the case lighting also to add some ambient color below and behind the case. Thank you for the heads up pirate. Sorry I need to really update the pictures

There is no sound damping material in this case so definitely pick quiet case fans. With that being said the airflow in the core v21 is so good that the RPM on the fans can be effective at lower speeds.

Sorry if it's obvious, but would you be able to elaborate on the fan config a little? The front and rear fans are obvious enough, but is it right to assume you've got the CPU rad fans set up to exhaust and the two fans on the GPU side are for intake?

It's kind of a cross-flow thing if that's right, but from what you're saying it works a treat. Looking to set mine up in a similar fashion!

Beautiful build. To mount the corsair radiator did you have to use the brackets? I have the same case and I'm looking to add the same water cooler. Thanks!

I have the same case and yes, you do have to use the mounting brackets. I would recommend getting the h115i instead of the h100i since the price is not that different and the case can fit it nicely. just beware that the brackets' pre-drilled holes do not match all of the h115i holes, so you need to very slight modification to one of the holes on the brackets.

5 exhaust what's your intake infront? one 140mm only? is your airflow good? +1 for good build
