Description

I built this pc for gaming and im very happy with how it turned out. I ended up spending more then i had intended but i wanted to do a little future proofing, Will be going sli at some time. I plan to replace the Fractal fans with some more Noctua's (i moved that one led shining on the psu).

The build went very well, I was worried about clearance between the motherboard and the H100i in the Define R4 but it fit with no modification. The one problem i did have was the H100i not being detected in the corsair link (a common problem in win 8.1), It was a pain in the butt but i did get it working.

3Dmark scores are. Fire Strike 10322, Sky diver 26794, Cloud gate 27672, Ice storm 173245

You did your research. Very well rounded system! You plan on doing any overclocks? Or SLI-ing in the furture?

From his description it looks like he plans on going SLI in the future. Also judging by the PSU I would say that is the case. As far as overclocking goes, I am sure he will get the bug we all get once he gets around to gaming and testing the system and uploading scores from 3dMark. :)

The motherboard is nice. I was worried about that one problem you see in the reviews about unplugging the power and the MB not working after but its been good for me. Has been very stable, no problems at all.

is your intake at the top? if not how are your cpu temps under load? im curious about how well the cooler works while having warm air pulled through it

The h100i and rear fan is exhaust while the 2 front fans and bottom fan are intake. The temps in my details are the highest i have seen.
