So I had updated my old PC that had an i5 4590 with a new rgb cpu cooler and i upgraded the case to a nzxt h500i for more rgb, i had also bought an RTX 2080 super on my birthday replace my old GTX 970, but I thought it was time to actually upgrade the rest of the hardware. Added a pic of my old stuff.

So my gf bought me an i5 9600k from walmart on black friday that shipped to me the next day.

I bought the ram and motherboard from amazon, because I have an amazon card and they were cheaper than most other places, I also used $240.00 of Amazon points.

I downloaded and updated drivers for the motherboard stuff, audio and network things.

Wanted to try a M2 SSD so i cloned my old samsung 240gb 860 EVO with the free macromium software changed the boot order in the bios and removed the old ssd and it worked perfectly. My other two storage drives are working just fine as well.

Used the same old power supply that I've had for years, and still used the same case.

Hah I know I didn't do cable management yet to make sure everything worked before I tighten the screws and get the zip ties ready. Took me about 4 hours to build and transfer my OS to the m2 and make sure everything ran right.
