Description

Thanks for stumbling upon this! Please leave comments! Let me know what you think!

I built this machine after my laptop gave out. I've never used an AMD processor before, but I've heard and seen great benchmarks of it when it comes to streaming video games, which is something I enjoy doing! The case I was recommended was the Cooler Master HAF XB. Now, I think it's a great, compact case, with amazing airflow! BUT! Once the motherboard/CPU/cooling loop is installed, it's damn near impossible to connect anything to the PSU, which is UNDER the mother board plate. That is the only concern I have about this. More benchmarks will be coming soon!

Additional notes

-Intel SSD's are running in RAID 0 -CPU is using the stock/preset 4.4 OC. The highest I was able to crank it to was 4.9 GHz, running stable on prime95 at 61 degrees C.

You can get an 8320 and it will oc to 8350 for less $$

So you're saying it will OC to 4.9?

Great build here. I love the look of the HAF XB. You could have gotten a less powerful PSU that was semi-modular or fully modular for that price, which might have helped in the XB. But that's just me being picky.

Awesome build! Love the watercooling.

It is a fully modular PSU :)

Nevermind then! You obviously did more research than me.

Thanks much! :) It was a blast building it. Definitely taught me a lot to do differently with my future builds.
