Description

A friend of mine helped me put this together, so far it works amazingly! We've played Star Citizen on it at rather high graphical settings, and it worked really well. No problems so far, will update the more that I use it. The only part I couldn't list was the extra fan I bought -- it's not on here, but it's the same ColorPicker whatever that comes with the case. (I have issues with the potential for things catching fire, so I have 3 massive 200 mm fans, one smaller 120 mm fan, my CPU cooler, and 3 fans on my graphics card.)

Thanks! The RAM is actually blue as well, I just got lazy when I put 'em in my part-list.

+1! Awesome setup man! Really like that case, too. How's the 390 treating you? I plan to buy the same one for my build soon :)

Thanks! The case looks amazing and so does pretty much every game played on here! Tera? Star Citizen? Absolutely gorgeous. -thumbs up-

Hey, im looking forward to build same system (8350 + 390) , what us your experience with this build?

What fps you get in csgo?

Haven't played that one yet, sorry! I get pretty incredible results in everything I play on Ultra settings. While I'm brand new to building computers, I'll do my best to answer any questions you have.

Thank you very much.

I just wanted to know about the FPS in csgo :(

I am building this system for only csgo and i want best output i can get for my budget.

I'll either go for i5 4690k + r9 390 Or fx8350 + r9 390

You paid wayyy too much for this, I got 8320e with that same mobo for $99, so right off the bat you over paid a lot. I see that you got 2 monitors in this build, for the price of those plus $100 that you would've saved on a good cpu/mobo combo you could've gotten a cheap 4k monitor (AOC brand maybe).

Also using that CPU is bottlenecking your graphics card, I have FX 8320e with R9 290 and get the same firestrike score, I don't think AMD has any CPU on the market that is good enough for R290 and def not even R9 390. Next time go with intel, there was a great deal for core i5 skylake for $240 plus free mobo

I got my CPU and mobo for the price at which they were available at the time this was built, from the cheapest seller -- which was NewEgg for almost all of this. I also disagree on the bottlenecking -- I haven't had any sorts of problems with it at all.

I have no intentions of going with Intel, as they're way too overpriced for a quality that isn't worth it when I can get better speeds with AMD. When I go to upgrade, I'll be going with the FX-9590 or the AMD Zen whenever that comes out.

hold out for zen in fourth quarter if you can, then the fx 9590 will likely have a price drop if you decide you dont want to buy your core parts again new.

good choices overall on your parts, nice scheming. I have a 290x with my 8350 and i dont have any bottlenecks, so you should be fine.

Thanks for the suggestion! I just took another look at the Zen and it certainly looks promising. I won't be able to upgrade for a while, so waiting's no problem here. Glad to hear another AMD build is doing well with a similar graphics card.

when was this built? i dont want to come off rude like he first guy but around Nov 2015 the 4690k was going for the same price a microcenter and that would have been better than the 8350 :p But i still think this is a good build over all and can ply any games at 1080p

Within the last few months. Like I said -- I have no interest in going with Intel, so I wasn't watching their prices. So far I haven't had any trouble playing any game on max settings, even Star Citizen.

ok go take a look at the firestrike scores and change the components as you wish, you will see that it is indeed bottlenecking your graphics card

omg you paid 139 for windows 7 facepalm what about gaming with DX12? Won't you want windows 10?

Sorry for replying to an old comment, but I went with this build because Intel is insanely expensive and I don't intend to touch anything beyond Windows 7 with a 50 foot pole.

That's a very passive aggressive comment. Why are you so angry?

maybe needs a snickers? i jest, but i often see these comments on amd builds, where they just spew vitriol about bottlenecking, heat, price, and variety of other issues.

I wasn't angry at all, I don't know why it came off that way to you. I even re-read my comment
