eBay: $150 for a complete i5 build with windows pro COA. The RAM was 4x1GB so I replaced with RAM that I had spare to make 8GB free shipping

GTX 950 75 watt card for $119 minus a $30 rebate. It is a 75 watt card and I worried that the PCI-E 2.0 only provided 60 watts but after some research, it does provide 75 watts. https://www.asus.com/support/faq/104406/

I did not have to upgrade the power supply to run this, as it was a 350 watt. I could swap out for a $25 EVGA 430 watt if I run into issues though.

For $240 I have a PC that can comfortable play Witcher 3 at medium settings but will really excel at games like WoW, CS:GO, LoL, PoE

Which PSU is that? I can check to see if it is good, and if it has the critical PFC component. If not, I recommend upgrading your PSU to maybe one of these:

  • SeaSonic SSP-300/350SE (Disclaimer: I have not confirmed this PSU is good but i believe it is)
  • Corsair CX450M, CX550M, CX650M

Otherwise, this build looks good, especially for only $240 (it is an upgraded prebuilt, right?).

yes upgraded no name prebuilt. It is a typical oem 350 watt. I have an EVGA 430 watt when I thought I was going to put in a $30 GTX 660 B-Stock card but that card was no good and is on RMA. Got this card and chose to just put the oem back in. Seems to run fine but no overclocking the GPU for this build. I got the 430 watt for $25.

Is your EVGA 430 watt PSU the white or bronze model?

If you're open to the idea, I'd probably suggest getting a better quality power supply instead. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=431
