Description

I am an avid Linux user, and I love the way this machine looks. the ability to hide cables behind the motherboard tray is a huge plus. this case is amazing, simple, yet effective.

He likes to be close to his snacks. Not a bad idea. Doubt Ms. Divdor will let me do that at my house. :D

I do a lot of virtualization for school, so I constantly have 8 or more virtual machines running as an Active directory domain, or a malware research setup (confined botnet) etc

Detron, you may want to respond to the questions. While you may have a legitimate use for the extra RAM, got a great deal, or whatever. People will downvote you without some sort of response. Just saying.

Is 32GB really necessary for video editing? I thought 16GB would be fine

You should have gotten 16GB of RAM, MAX, and used the extra money to buy a nicer GPU. Also, you will see very little difference in RAM speed going from 1600 to 1866--it was not worth the price tag.

My comment wouldn't show up when I entered it. It appears as though all of them went through eventually :/. Thanks for telling me.

There is such a thing as a happy medium... 4GB of RAM (my current situation) vs 32GB.

Pretty good build. But yeah explain the RAM and upgrade your video card for a 1.2k build. And whats with the optical drives?
